ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi, I'm Jeremy McIlroy. So—you would like to know a little about who wrote the book you are

considering buying. Ok. I'll tell you a little bit about myself.

I served in the United States Marine Corps, primarily as an infantry rifleman then as

a scout sniper. I gained some of my best friends and most interesting memories during my time

in the corps. I have used the knowledge and experience that I acquired during that time to give

some realism to my story writing. In fact, Chapter 10 "Snipers" in Finding Sanctuary is based

on two actual training missions that my platoon was given during our training at the Marine Corps'

Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California, with very similar outcomes.

My family and I live in Virginia, though I am originally from California. My wife

Stephany and I have been blessed with two wonderful sons.

In the last decade, I have become fond of studying Constitutional law and Austrian economics.

Both subjects will become more noticeable in Freedom's Sanctuary, the sequel to

Finding Sanctuary, which I am currently working on in my spare time.
